Kerbals everywhere

I’ve recently started working on the video game project Kerbal Space Program. I’m thrilled to animate the little characters of the game, and so excited to see how they can stand out with their own plot line and emotions.  The development team is awesome, and they are pretty sure of what they want to do achieve with this game.  If you want to play KSP you can download a trial version, or get the full alpha release on Steam or paying via PayPal.

I hope, once the game is published, to post some of the work in my blog.  Meanwhile, here’s a small avatar gif I created for the game forums.

The Voodoo Master

The base model for this character was created by @zujuy. I just modified in some parts the geometry, the overall proportion of the head, arms, and created a new texture. Painted some skin details in the face, arms and legs, and tried to simulate some muscles in the body. This fella is going to be on a 3D/2D game I’m developing with some friends. I wanted to paint/sculpt more details on Zbrush, but he’s going to be too small on the screen to check out that kind of detail.  He’s also still in bind pose, except for the jaw and teeth. Done with Maya, Zbrush and Photoshop.
